Campaign of the Month: June 2012
Oiram's Treasure Pouch
Magical Bottomless Pouch
Aura moderate conjuration; minor illusion, CL 13th
Slot none; Price 5,000 gp; Weight 5 lbs.
A well made, well used, and quite ordinary red and blue pouch with a shiny golden clasp. It is constructed of finely tanned leather. It appears large enough to hold about a quart of material. In fact, this pouch is like a bag of holding and can actually hold material of as much as 10 cubic feet in volume or 1000 pounds in weight. Even when so filled, the treasure pouch always weighs only 5 pounds.
While such storage is useful enough, the pouch has an even greater power. When the wearer reaches into it for a specific item, that item is always on top. Thus, no digging around and fumbling is ever necessary to find what the treasure pouch contains. Retrieving any specific item from a haversack is a move action, but it does not provoke the attacks of opportunity that retrieving a stored item usually does. Items retrieved from the treasure pouch must be no larger than 6 inches by 4 inches.
Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, secret chest, teleport object, major image; Cost 2,500 gp
There once were two famous adventurers, who also happened to be brothers. Oiram and Igiul were renown for their skill at breezing through dangerous dungeons and monster lairs, scooping up treasures and escaping unscathed. They had a matching pair of custom pouches constructed, which would hold an enormous amount of treasure. This pouch is one of those two.
