Campaign of the Month: June 2012
The second month of the year. The end of winter. This month is named after the god Terak. It is usually known as a month in which wars are never fought, but the decisive victory in the Battle of the Standard took place during this month, and thus Teraketh (and much of the noble populace) celebrate this Battle on the 17th day of this month, unless the 17th falls on a Kisméday, at which time the celebration takes place on the following Alimday, which would fall on the 18th of the month.
This month traditionally has 28 days, but once every four years, there is a special celebratory day, known as The Day of the Phoenix, and this month has 29 days during “Phoenix Years”.
